It is lovely at times to be entirely self indulgent with a belt design - throwing caution to the wind and creating something that really pushes the envelope. This new Belafonte Riv design is such a creation. To create it we started with our established Belafonte belt with its flowing wave pattern and have then taken the liberty of mixing a matt/gloss finish mock croc leather with jet black hair on cowhide (pony hair). This is then topped off with the addition of intermittent silver rivets that follow the ebb and flow of the wave pattern. The finishing touch is this subtle aged silver prong style buckle with its gently curved front edges and subtle etching detail. The buckle has something to say about itself but keeps the focus squarely on the texture, detail and leather mix in the belt itself. The end result - a belt that is full of wonderful hand craftsmanship that makes a real statement with a distinctive rock and roll feel to it. This is a belt you can wear with jeans and a leather jacket or with contemporary edgy eveningwear whether trousers or a dress. It will for sure grab everyone's attention!
